Nikki + Josh | Highlight Film { The Cliffs Resort }
I will always remember this day, it was beautiful and it ended with love. Right before the ceremony, it started to rain, so we had to cut our photo & video session short. The wedding was moved into the reception tent on the grass, it was flooding and the wind almost took it away! It was pretty crazy. But since we are professionals AND people that are focused on having a good time too, the wedding was still a success!!! Thank you Josh + Nikki!
DJ: Perry was the DJ from Kramer Entertainment and I was impressed by how he was also able to keep the mood upbeat and the party rocking until the late night! FLOWERS: Panacea was creative and elegant as always with her flower designs! I love her use of emphasis by using one simple flower and using that ONLY. Check out her great work on this one. Love it! VENUE: The Cliffs also took great care of us and the photographers Kayla and Shelbea from Ashley Blake. PHOTOGRAPHERS: This was Kayla’s first time directing AND she was about 8 months pregnant, too. Way to go girl! FOOD: The food was amazing, it was catered by The Cliffs. You have to try their steak!
And I am proud to announce that this wedding has become part of Style Unveiled’s Los Angeles Section. Awesome.
MANSIONS ON THE MOON – She Makes Me Feel | Their music is very inspiring to me. I love their honesty. Being a city & nature lover, I feel their harmonious contrast between digital and organic. I thought the music was also a balance for Nikki and Josh because they were bumping hip hop during the photo shoot! (I suggest you Download a free mixtape that includes this song I have been playing it on repeat for the last month!) THE GLITCH MOB – Starve the Ego, Feed the Soul / My life | Their set at Burning Man 2007 changed my perception of what was possible. I find their music very raw and honest with enough space to allow for vocals, their DJ sets are full of chopped up sweet hip hop music samples. Check out their sound cloud full of exclusive remixes for free! Epic! Oh and I suggest catching one of their live sets if you can. )
